In 2015, La Boulisterie innovated with its pop-up Petanque courts and created the first solution to play Petanque anytime, anywhere.
La Boulisterie is a true invitation to travel and dream by experiencing another French touch and is now present in Los Angeles.
From a flat space and in less than 45 min we will set 2 pop-up Boulodromes (indoor or outdoor) a brown turf and a set of various decorative objects so Frenchie!
Our “Maître Boulistier” set the Boulodrome, host the event and then uninstall everything. You actually do not have to worry about anything, just relax and enjoy the game. For a safer play, we use “Made in France” softball. They weight the same as traditional Petanque steel ball: 680 grs but they allow a safer play.
We have put all our passion, our expertise in the event business and even a part of our childhood dreams to create a unique, trendy, vintage, poetic and ephemeral petanque activity. Boulodromes, lounge chairs, wooden boxes as a coffee table, tri-colored barrel, stalls… a real time-traveling machine back to the ’50s and ’60s.
We also offer long term rental if you’d like to set a Petanque Court for a week or several months.
Become Maître Boulistier!
Created in 2015 in Nice, in Southern France, La Boulisterie is present all over France and now in Los Angeles. Other cities are currently being considered; therefore do not hesitate to contact us if you’d like to develop La Boulisterie in your area.
It doesn’t get any wilder than at the L.A. Zoo and this year is going to be THE Holiday experience as we bring our curated crafters and artists to the L.A. Zoo each weekend from November 30 through December 22. 15 carefully selected local artists & crafters will be displaying some of the most unique gift items over the course of 4 weekends. Every Sat and Sunday, we will have pop-ups during the Winter Wild series at the L.A. Zoo from 10 am – 4 pm and then again during the Zoo Lights from 6 pm – 10 pm.
During Winter Wild, we will have (2) workshops on both Saturday & Sunday plus feature live music!
In my last post I talked about how after months and months of back and forth with LAUSD, we were finally delivered a beautiful shiny new License Agreement which we have since laminated and framed above our mantel. Along with that shiny new Agreement we have revamped the Poster and feel it better depicts the spirit of what we are committed to creating at Marshall HS. Hope you all like it as much as we do.
Now accepting applications. The grand opening is Saturday, November 2. Visit losfelizflea.com for details.

This is a great Weekend Roundup and very happy to have been included. Hoping this will help kick this little Flea into overdrive. Check out some of the vendors coming tomorrow at theoddmarket.com/omgc.
In making the transition from a Food Truck event on Tuesday’s to a Sunday event we had to change the look as well and here’s what we came up with thanks to my wife’s super style…
Now let the fun begin. Great time slot 4pm – 8pm during the Fall / Winter months and 4pm – 10pm in the Spring / Summer. We are starting off small with about 16 -20 vendors this week (Sunday Sept 15th) but with the help of the community, we hope to be at 50 within a month or so. Hope you can make it.
Now that school is in session, we decided to make a move to Sundays from 4 pm – 8 pm (Fall / Winter) and 4 pm – 10 pm (Spring / Summer).
PLUS… We are adding more vendors and billing it as Food Truckin’ & Flea Market Sundays. We’ll start off this coming Sunday, Sept. 8th and ramp it up as we grow.
We will have food trucks, music, seating, and the playground is open as well (supervised by parents please) plus vintage, collectibles and more.
I am excited to be launching a YouTube and Web Channel Series titled Meet The Makers. We will be producing a fun and factual series on our many Vendors and Food Trucks in the coming weeks. Each segment will be about 10 minutes in length and have a shotgun series of 20 random questions that our unsuspecting guests are not privy to until the camera rolls.
Mostly aimed at showcasing what the Vendor has to offer, how they got into it and where to get it but also some fun questions and intimate look into their backstories. Where they came from. Their influences and an occasional. “what’s your favorite color” thrown in for good measure.
Vendors & Food Trucks! Want to be featured on Meet The Makers, please email news@theoddmarket for information. We tape once a week in Silver Lake.
If you are looking for a great midweek mini night market, then you’ll want to come check out Food Truckin’ Tuesdays tomorrow night from 5pm – 10pm at OMGC in Los Feliz. We have free parking, a Rock Wall and perhaps another cool inflatable for the kids. Music and pop-ups including London Manori Jewelry, Delicate Raymond, Farm Fresh to You and Jen Sing with her hidden treasures & goodies!
Food Trucks tomorrow: Vchos, I Love Funnel Cakes, Humble Crust Pizza, Cerda Vega Tacos, Rainbow Asian Taco, Hunger Sticks, and Crepe Life. And perhaps 1 or 2 more.
It’s finally out and what a cool episode. Very grateful to Tina Malave for choosing Odd Nights at The Autry as a featured “Summer To-Do.” 5th season and our favorite show we produce. Looking forward to July 19th’s Odd Night. If you want to catch the full episode head over to
Odd Nights at The Autry returns Friday, March 15th at 6 PM. After all the rain and gloom, it’s time to get those blankets and chairs out. Invite your friends & family and come enjoy the best-kept secret in town. Odd Nights with amazing local pop-up shops, tons of food trucks, a wonderland of huge inflatables, full bar, “real” restrooms and special entry into select galleries not to mention FREE parking and great music is all waiting for you every 3rd Friday through October.
