WM craftworks is the creative collaboration of LA based husband and wife team Nobu Wellington and Yuko Makuuchi. Our favorite materials to work with are clay, leather and wood. Our collection of handcrafted originals is made up of three components; ceramic housewares (cups, bowls, plates, drip coffee carafes etc.), Wooden house wares (Cutting boards and lathe turned bowls and dishes), and custom jewelry designs combining ceramic and wood pieces. We strive to make functional items that are beautiful. How a piece feels to the touch is also a big part of our aesthetic consideration. We design each piece to be as interesting to the touch as it is to look at. That’s why, when people come into our booth, we encourage them to pick things up.
