WILL YOU DROP YOUR DENIM AND HELP HOMELESS TEENS?!

I’m Jasmine a freshman at VIP (Valley International Prep Charter High School) in Van Nuys and I’m collecting used jeans to give to homeless teens here in LA for Teens for Jeans! My goal is to collect 5,000 pairs of jeans and I’ve got four weeks to do it!

I’m sooooo excited to be partnering with DoSomething.org and Aéropostale and helping teens who don’t have a home right now..I know how it feels to be in their shoes and that’s what makes this campaign so important to me!  Teens for Jeans is the largest jeans drive in the country, the campaign aims to help youth experiencing homelessness. More than one million teens and children in the U.S. experience homelessness each year, and most of them have only the clothes they’re wearing when they enter a homeless shelter. The one item these young people ask for most often is a pair of jeans.

Dosomething.org are also awarding $5,000 to the school with the most jeans collected by January..and as a new charter high school my school really needs the money!

DROP YOUR JEANS AT THE ODD MARKET!!

Please donate your used jeans to my Teens for Jeans campaign..I will be at the Odd Market so that you can drop off your jeans! EVERY pair of jeans donated will be delivered to homeless teens here in LA.

I CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!

Thank you for reading about my campaign..Jasmine xoxo”

On a Personal Note

I know Jasmine’s Mom, Katie and when she emailed me telling me about what her daughter Jasmine was doing, I had to help. Who wouldn’t? I will be bringing some jeans down and hope others will too. I have invited Jasmine to come to all the Odd Markets through January.
