Event Pay is a Merchant Processing app that links to a

Stripe Merchant account. 

This is a beta program that allows you to opt for reduced or no fee booking and pay based on your sales at select Odd Markets.

Leveling the playing field

I know that event booking fees can be scary when you add in all the events out there.

I created the Event Pay app with this in mind as a way to “level the playing field” and in a way partner with you the Vendor.

It’s a simple concept but not simple in executing. Event Pay beta testers are required to use the Event Pay app at our event. All credit card and cash transactions must be run through Event Pay as it’s the way we get paid for your space. The app can be set up in less than 10 minutes and below I include a video tutorial that walks you through the simple process.

Simple to Register

The first step is to register your Event Pay app. This is a one time process and sets you up in our database for reporting and feedback.

Simple to Login

At an event we produce, you simply log in and start processing cash and credit card sales.

Simple to Stripe

Adding or setting up Stripe is easy, safe and secure.

Setting up Event Pay


Event Pay is very simple to set up and the entire process can be completed in less than 10 minutes.


To the left is a video tutorial where I walk you through the steps of setting up the Event Pay app as well as linking your existing Stripe Merchant account to Event Pay.


If you don’t have a Stripe Merchant account, I show you how to set that up as well. All you will need is the following:


Bank routing number and account number

Your social security or Federal ID number



These are required to activate your new Stripe Merchant account just as you would have done with Paypal or Square or any of the merchant processors. You can find out more about Stripe by visiting their website. I prefer Stripe as they have one of the best fraud protection suites in the business limiting the risk of being scammed.

Event Pay works just as most merchant processors. At the end of the day, the sales will automatically batch out and being sent to your bank. Typically funds will hit your bank account within 2 days from the batch out.
