Keurig signs multi show Sponsorship with Odd Market

If you love coffee as much I do then this is exciting news for you too. I found the Keurig Mobile while searching online for food trucks that are new in Los Angeles and stumbled on Keurig. After 1 phone call I knew they were a perfect fit and they will be kicking off their sponsor tour this Monday at the Eagle Rock Odd Market from 5:30-9:30 giving away samples and getting to know the community.

Come out and sample their coffee and see their new product line.

Odd Market is on the move again. After hopping over the hill from DTLA to Studio City’s Sportsmen’s Lodge last fall, the Etsy-meets-flea market bazaar is headed to a new home at The Autry in Griffith Park this spring.

Per LA Event Co.’s blog, the head honchos at its previous home “decided to pull the plug on our Thursday night market.” Holding court at the Western museum’s lush lawn, the indie marketplace will go from a weekly to a monthly event and will boast 200 vendor booths, growing to over three times in size. In addition to offering live music and DJs, beer and wine, food trucks, and kids’s craft areas, the pet- and picnic-friendly event will offer plenty of free parking.

No word yet on the exact debut date, but event organizer Phillip Dane tells us Odd Market 3.0 is slated to open at its new digs in April. He’s currently seeking local designers, crafters, and vintage and antiques vendors; head here for more deets on how to join the roster.

So Long Sportsmen’s Lodge.

pulling-the-plug2So the management at Sportsmen’s Lodge decided to pull the plug on our Thursday night market. It came as quite a disappointment and after many attempts including offering them more money, they still have not budged. I have a bit a good news though. I am close to announcing a new location to move to and hopefully that will come within a week. I will post an update as soon as it’s finalized.

[box] “Thanks for the fun nights but it’s time to move on and find a new home for the Odd Market Studio City.” [/box]

It’s a real bummer as we were originally brought in to help the hotel announce their renovation and thought we’d be a fixture for years to come but that’s just not going to happen. I want to thank all those the supported the Night Market including the vendors and the residents as well as Roni & Kevin, Stephen (GM of Sportsmen’s) Rob & Lorenzo and Robert who sets up and breaks down the events without breaking a sweat.

See you all soon at the new location which I hope to announce early next week.
